This certification recognises our ability to design the most demanding data centres.
We have achieved Acredited Tier Design – ATD certification from the Uptime Institute, the world’s leading IT industry standard for designing, building and operating data centers.
“This certification recognizes the capabilities and methodology employed by CadLan in the design and implementation of our Data Centers worldwide, and places us among the select group of integrators who hold this certification”, says Javier Millán, head of infrastructure at CadLan.
The TIER classification system has been created by the Uptime Institute with the aim of effectively evaluating the requirements of the infrastructure that make up the data centre in terms of its availability, design, structure, performance, reliability or investment.
“Achieving efficiency in the data centre is very important and has a direct influence on the costs the customer has to face”, explains Millán.
These certificates determine the requirements and benefits provided by all Tier (I, II, III and IV). Each is linked to a specific function in the business and establishes the appropriate criteria in relation to power, cooling, maintenance and ability to withstand any fault tolerance. In addition, each upgrade of the Tier, in a progressive manner, incorporates the requirements and benefits of the previous Tier.
“Data Centers are a key element in the digital transformation processes in which organizations are immersed. At Cad&Lan we design, manage, execute and install turnkey solutions for DPC, including all processes related to the environment, availability and security for companies to connect now and in the future. The Acredited Tier Design – ATD certification recognises that our designs meet the maximum guarantee for clients”, concludes Javier Millán.
