The new Data Center, on which work has just begun, will enable CEN to manage all electricity production and transmission in the country.
Project
Our collaboration in the project includes the following specialties:
- Electrical installation: generator sets, electrical panels, and UPS.
- Weak currents: data cabling and fiber optics.
- Air conditioning.
- BMS and Power Monitoring centralized control system.
- Equipment: racks, PDU’s and video walls for the control room.
Requirements
The data processing center, with TIER III topology, must meet all the reliability and redundancy requirements necessary to guarantee the 99.982% availability required by the Uptime Institute standard.
To this, the necessary redundancies are provided to carry out the maintenance work without interrupting the service. Continuity is also ensured in the event of an unexpected failure of any infrastructure element or system or any other unplanned activity, such as a natural disaster or fire.
